A double girder bridge crane is a type of overhead crane that consists of two girders (beams) mounted parallel to each other on top of the crane's support structure. Girders: The primary horizontal beams that span the width of the crane. In a double girder crane, there are two girders spaced apart to provide increased stability and load capacity compared to single girder cranes. End Trucks: These are assemblies located at each end of the girders. They house the wheels on which the crane travels along the runway beams. The end trucks provide support and enable the crane to move horizontally along the length of the crane runway.
