Overhead traveling cranes, also known simply as overhead cranes or bridge cranes, are industrial machines used for lifting and moving heavy loads horizontally within a facility. Bridge: This is the horizontal beam that spans the width of the facility and travels along the runway rails. It supports the hoisting mechanism and moves the load horizontally.
